If anyone is interested I will have some insignia for Shinels soon. I will have M35 full colour (infantry raspberry) and M41 subdued collar patches for £10 a pair as well as M43 infantry sets (shoulderboards and collar tabs) for £15.
I'll also have a few extra bit and pieces for sale. I'll have politkas with badges for £3, Canteens & covers for £7, postwar plash-palatkas for £15, postwar vyeshch-myeshok backpacks (require conversion to ww2 pattern) for £6 and M36 mess tins (also good for German mess tins as they're closer to the ww2 pattern than most postwar designs) for £10.
If you're interested in anything just drop me a PM and I'll put it aside for you. I won't take any money until I have the goods myself.

Afraid not. Hoping to have them in time for the social but can't guarantee it. Previous orders have taken 2-3 weeks so fingers crossed.

Here is a pic shamelessly stolen from Rusmilitary. To make it wartime you need to remove the outer pockets and sidestraps. The straps make good chinstraps for converting Czech helmets.

Ok I have the first package from this order, although most of it is modern/coldwar stuff for myself. So far I have 2 shinels, 4 plashs (one more than I ordered) and politkas. Politka wise I got 2 more than I ordered but no badges and the sizing is a bit random. 
The largest I have is a 57, but some of the 54s fit me and I'm a 59. 
They're also mostly the nicer earlier type, not the denimy late model you usually get. I'll have to ask about whats happened with the badges.

Not really sure. They're both 48s and I didn't order any. 
I've tried them on and the fit me and I'm definitely not a 38" chest. I'd say anyone with a 42" chest or below can wear them but probably Jay and Carly as hopefully ( ) the rest will be bigger.
